Driving License Office, Karachi. My learning driving license had expired so I went today to the Driving License Office,Clifton to get a. Driving License Branch. A new driving licence branch has been inaugurated in Clifton, Karachi on Wednesday. The Saleem Vahidy auditorium as well as the license branch were inaugur.
During the inauguration ceremony, an agreement was signed between National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), National Database and Registration Authority and the government, which will ensure fee submission of the driving licences, licence shipments to drivers and software upgradation with courier companies. The ceremony was attended by representatives of Jazz Cash, Sindh police and NBP. The IG Police, President NBP Saeed Ahmad and Head of Business Services Division of Jazz Faisal Sattar were all present at the event.
You can get a learner’s license in less than 5 minutes – IG Sindh Police Together, Jazzcash and NBP will facilitate in the payment of driving license fees across Sindh. Drivers, who apply for their new learning license or those applying for license renewal, will now be able to pay their fees through their Jazzcash mobile accounts or agents. Previously, the payment was handled by Pakistan Post. DIG Mazhar Nawaz Shaikh told that the new license branch will put an end to the agent mafia which were operating at different license branches and will help in controlling fake licenses. Jazzcash and NBP will facilitate in the payment of driving license fees across Sindh. IG Police added that drivers will no longer have to go through lengthy documentation processes and the whole system is now digital.

1st of all where u got ur learning LICENSE from?? If u got it from clifton branch then u have to go there for ur COMPUTERIZED LICENSE and if u have it from nazimabad then u have to go nazimabad branch??? Or if u have ur license (OLD ONE) then again same rulz apply where u get it from??

And the cost 1800rs ticket for 5Y license and if u want agent to do the process then it will cost u around 800 to 1000 (if u have learning license with u). As i m in canada and here they dont accept karachi licence due to some missing security featuer. Any idea what is this feature.

If anyone can get this information it will make my case stronger otherwise i have to wait for 3 years to have licence.and its really embarrassment for me that after 34 years driving experinc and licence i have to again start from Learner licence.
